The Retained Search Process: A Flexible and Tailored Approach to Your Success

  1. Consultation & Position Analysis:

    We begin with a free consultation to understand your role requirements, company culture, and long-term vision. This allows us to create a recruitment strategy tailored to your business goals.


  2. Talent Sourcing & Outreach:

    Using my extensive recruitment network and ECRE expertise, I identify both active and passive candidates—ensuring access to top talent, even for niche and hard-to-fill positions.


  3. Calibration Resume Round:

    In this stage, we will provide you with three anonymized resumes that closely align with the job description you’ve shared. Your detailed feedback on these resumes will guide us in refining the next rounds, ensuring that the candidates we present are increasingly aligned with your expectations.

    If one of the anonymized candidates meets your criteria and you decide to hire them, our job is complete. Otherwise, your input helps us hone in on the right fit, improving the precision of future rounds. Why is the calibration round anonymized? We want to avoid the hiring team's potential subconscious biases so that we can identify exactly what the client is looking for and what their business truly needs.


  4. Screening & Shortlisting:

    Candidates undergo a rigorous screening process, including technical evaluations and behavioral assessments. I only present the most suitable candidates for your consideration.


  5. Presentation of Candidates:

    I provide detailed profiles of each shortlisted candidate, offering insights into their strengths and alignment with your company’s values and goals.


  6. Final Selection & Support:

    I assist throughout the onboarding process and provide ongoing support to the hiring manager and to the new hire for the first 90 days of employment to ensure the new hire integrates smoothly into your organization.

Flexible Payment Options to Meet Your Needs

As part of my commitment to transparency and professionalism, I believe in being upfront about my terms and conditions. I work under a strict, non-negotiable contract, ensuring I can dedicate my time and effort to delivering top-quality results. Here’s what you can expect:

  • For high-level or technical roles, we offer a 25% fee of the estimated first-year total compensation, divided into three milestone payments:

    • 1st Milestone:

      $100 per role upon assigning the vacancy. This initial payment covers the needs assessment meeting, defining the salary range, work site location, candidate nationality, and receiving the job description and resource requirements. This fee is deducted from your first invoice if you proceed with our services.

    • 2nd Milestone: 10% of the estimated first-year total compensation, payable upon delivery of a shortlist of qualified candidates.

    • 3rd Milestone: 15% of the estimated first-year total compensation, payable 90 days after the new hire’s start date.


  • SME Exclusive Retainer Fees: For qualifying small and medium enterprises (SMEs), we offer a 15% fee of the estimated first-year total compensation, divided into three milestone payments:

    • 1st Milestone: $100 per role upon assigning the vacancy. This fee includes the needs assessment meeting, setting the salary range, work site location, candidate nationality, and obtaining the job description and resource requirements. This amount is deducted from your first invoice if you proceed with our services.

    • 2nd Milestone: 5% of the estimated first-year total compensation, payable upon delivery of a shortlist of candidates.

    • 3rd Milestone: 10% of the estimated first-year total compensation, payable 90 days after the new hire’s start date.


Qualification Clause: To access the SME retainer rate, clients must qualify for SME status, subject to written approval from SpartanSC.


Client Benefit Clause: If we cannot place or replace a candidate within the first 90 days of employment, the third milestone payment is waived. Written confirmation from the client is required if the candidate departs within this period.


RPO (Recruitment Process Outsourcing) Model – Hourly Rate with Referral-Based Commission

For businesses with ongoing recruitment needs, we offer RPO services at an hourly rate of $10 to $30, depending on the recruiter's experience level and the complexity of your hiring needs. Additionally, there is a $150 commission per successful hire, payable upon signing.


Hourly Consulting Services

In addition to Executive Search, Laith (Leo) Khoury offers consulting services for business development, growth strategy, leadership development, HR strategy, process automation, and e-commerce strategy. These services are available at an hourly rate of $200 to $300 per hour, based on the type of consulting needed. [Book appointment here]


Exclusivity Clause:

When you work with me or my team, I commit to your search for the duration of each project. This ensures my full attention is focused on finding the best talent for your position. Additionally, I personally only take on five vacancies at a time to ensure that you are benefiting from my full expertise and attention.


Invoicing:

All invoices for services provided will be billed via Spartan Services & Consulting, ensuring smooth and professional billing practices for all clients.


Optional: Tailored Onboarding Services

To further support your hiring process, I offer a tailored onboarding service that ensures new hires integrate seamlessly into your team. This service includes:

  • $100 setup fee for creating a custom onboarding plan that fits your company’s culture and processes.

  • $50 per new hire, ensuring smooth transitions and enhanced employee retention.
